The Danwadaag Consortium has partnered with the Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) team to conduct Data for Solutions initiatives since 2023, aimed at tracking progress toward durable solutions. This collaboration supports the government’s Durable Solutions Progress (DSP) Survey and other activities that monitor solutions and local integration while informing programming. By generating evidence on solutions, the initiative helps internally displaced persons (IDPs) and returnees advance in their (re)integration journey, fostering greater self-reliance and reduced dependence on humanitarian assistance. This is achieved through government-led, community-based durable solution processes, sustainable basic service delivery, inclusive economic opportunities, and enhanced land tenure security.
Danwadaag’s Local (Re)Integration Assessment (LORA) has functioned as a project monitoring tool since 2019. During 2024, it was modified and expanded to serve as the nationwide DSP Survey.
