MOGADISHU – The Banadir Regional Administration’s Education Directorate announced on Saturday the official schedule for the national middle school certificate exams (Grade 8) for the 2025/2026 academic year.
According to the Somali National News Agency (SONNA), all technical and logistical preparations have been finalized to conduct the examinations on schedule, with strict measures implemented to ensure transparency and equal academic opportunities.
The statement clarified that the national examination cycle for the intermediate certificate will begin on June 15, with tests continuing at various centers over four consecutive days, ending on June 18.
The educational authority urged students, parents, teachers, and school administrators to increase collaborative efforts and provide necessary academic and psychological preparation to ensure the successful completion of this important milestone.
The directorate wished all candidates across Banadir districts excellent academic performance, hoping they achieve results that fulfill their future educational goals in the country.
