From November 16-18, heavy fighting took place in Jamaame District and neighboring villages including Muuse Xaaji, Araare, Koban, Bangeeni, Maleyleey, Baladu-Raxma, and Maan-Bile. Jubaland forces, with support from the Somali National Army, conducted joint ground operations and carried out airstrikes against Al-Shabaab strongholds. These military actions caused swift and extensive displacement of civilians from the impacted communities.

The Protection and Solution Monitoring Network, working with local partners, recorded the displacement of about 3,800 households, totaling 22,800 people. The majority of displaced families have headed toward coastal regions including Nireey, Hanqoro, Shabeley, Demo, Naftaaquur, and Biliq, while others have escaped further inland to Singaleer.

The ongoing conflict in Jamaame District persists as active, unstable, and uncertain. Jubaland forces continue their efforts to move into Jamaame town, and more airstrikes are expected. The humanitarian conditions are worsening quickly, with the number of displaced persons continuing to increase.
