DROUGHT EARLY ACTION PROTOCOL SUMMARY
The IFRC Disaster Response Emergency Fund (DREF) has committed CHF 530,533 for anticipatory actions to lessen drought impacts in Somalia. The Early Action Protocol allows for stock prepositioning and annual readiness activities to activate early actions when triggers are met. These predetermined actions were established in collaboration with the National Society and detailed in the Early Action Protocol summary.
This annual report details readiness activities performed during the second year. It encompasses second-year personnel expenses, financial charges, and indirect costs. Stock prepositioning activities were documented in the activation report.
