A Somali government delegation led by the Minister of Environment and Climate Change, Lt. Gen. Bashir Mohamed Jama, and accompanied by Ambassador Khadra Duale, took part in the High-Level Segment of the Basel, Rotterdam, and Stockholm (BRS) Conventions held in Geneva, Switzerland, on Wednesday.

The two-day summit focused on strengthening global efforts to manage chemicals and hazardous waste. Delegates explored best practices, regulatory frameworks, and innovative technologies aimed at improving safety and sustainability in chemical management.
