On Tuesday, President Abdirahman Mohamed Irro officially launched the 3 Million Trees Project as Somaliland celebrated the National Tree Planting Day.

In his address, the President called upon all citizens, communities, and organizations to actively participate in this crucial environmental campaign.

“By planting trees today, we’re combating climate change, restoring our degraded lands, and securing an ecological future for generations to come,” President Irro emphasized.

The nationwide initiative represents Somaliland’s commitment to sustainable development and environmental conservation, aiming to significantly increase forest cover across the regions.
